The Shape Of My Heart/Rose

The Shape Of My Heart/Rose

A heart shape in three diagonal,
Broken inside, nothing to heal
To complete the loss of losing you,
When I look back on the things I’ve done.
Trying to push you aside,
When I knew I needed you,
I confess to the wrongs I’ve done,
There’s nothing more to hide,
Then to show you the shape of my heart.
They say a rose is a flower,
A delicate desire of ones love for another,
But to me it’s a heart afraid to be broken,
It’s the dream of a lover that never takes
The chance of learning to open
And receive God’s blessings.
A red rose that blossom in your eyes.
Love is a feeling shaped in hearts and roses.

Wonderful, heartfelt writing. It seems to glow like a deep red rose in a sun-washed garden!
