Playing In The Rain

Dull and grey that's how it is
When you a little rug rat wanting
To be out side enjoying the rain,
Mommy isn't watching I grab my raincoat into my red boots I got
In the beginning of winter,
Mommy warned saying,
Don't play in the rain you smile
Nodding your little head as your pig tails bounce with you
Gallop, splash, you jump into the mud
Mommy isn't here so I'll make myself
Happy by playing in the rain,
Turning myself around and around
As I see my friends all coming
Enjoying the water and we start to giggle, as little Rose fell flat on her bum.
Mommy is gonna get upset I know,
But my little hands wants to play with the mud, baking mud cookies,
As Carter comes sneaking up behind me,
Doh, on my head,
My small hand felt the wet and cold of the mud, as tears start to form
In my eyes, I knew Mommy wasn't going to laugh,
It wasn't long I saw Mommy standing by the gate ,
as all my friends scattered home leaving me there to fend for my own.
