I am Thirty Today
Today I am thirty years of age
I never thought I would reach it
so elegantly and beautifully.
When I turned 29 I was ready to embrace it
and live life to the fullest
learning to accept life's choices
and not allow it to rob me of its valuability.
I am Thirty Today
I have found new hope
in a better future
Single at thirty and on my way.
Nothing can stop this poetess
that still has her beauty intact.
It's like the years could never take from me
as it kept my youthfulness
I am Thirty Today
and most importantly
I thank God for keeping me
from harms way.
