Not

 Tetractys
Tetractys, a poetic form invented by Ray Stebbing,
consists of at least 5 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 10
syllables (total of 20). Tetractys can be written with more than one verse,
 but must follow suit
with an inverted syllable count. Tetractys can also
bereversed and written 10, 4, 3, 2, 1.

Double Tetractys: 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 10, 4, 3, 2, 1

Triple Tetractys: 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 10, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 10

and so on.

"Euclid, the mathematician of classical times, considered the
 number series 1, 2, 3, 4 to have mystical
significance because its sum is 10, so he dignified it with a name of
its own - Tetractys. The tetractys
could be Britain's answer to the haiku. Its challenge is to express a
complete thought, profound or
comic, witty or wise, within the narrow compass of
 twenty syllables." - Ray Stebbing

A poet without love

A poet without love

She’s
Finding
Her way through
This bliss, wanting to
Make sense of her love.
Her destiny is to
Write. A poet without love.
Is like an empty vessel without words.
She’s finding out what it’s like to find
Her muse after all this time, yet know she’s alive.

 Etheree

Me in a Nutshell

Me in a Nutshell

When I feel loved I know it because it’s in the way you look at me when you say my name. In the way you run your fingers through my long tresses. When I get hurt you would know it because I would try to cover up the tear tracks that were put there by you. Mostly I am just a girl who lives her life to the fullest and always try to be good to others. Finding hope in her life. I am just your ordinary girl making her life the best she can.

About Me Poetry: The directions were as follows:  Write a paragraph about yourself.  Put some poetic language in to describe something in the paragraph.

Blue Sky

Blue Sky

I look up to the sky and see the beauty
Leading up to heaven as clouds
Joins each other side by side,
The depth of the ocean as blue as
Crystal waters cascading with droplets
Of rain drops coming from that
Same blue sky.
Blue describes the serenity that God provides us,
The inspiration we receive from him.

Color Poems : Choose a color and describe or compare things that have that color.

My Happiest Moment

My Happiest Moment

When I got the email.
Saying that I will be published.
It was one of the proudest,
Moments I can recall not just
Because I cried.

It was the hope the joy that it,
Brought to my life that
I knew my dreams is
Visible and not invisible.

That feeling of knowing
You’ve done your best.
That dreams can come true.
My happiest moment
In my life was the
Day God revealed to me
Your dreams is about
To be born.

This is a (Moment Poetry Form) choose a moment in your life & write about it. This is my first time and I am enjoying the form a lot.  I am busy working on different forms just to expand my poetry knowledge.
