I have this undying love for you,
That burns in the pit of my tummy.
It’s like fire that has a flame
Shaped in a heart.
The red bloodshot paint
On my wall is the symbol
Of love in its rarest kind.
We sometimes forget that love
We once had,
But then we get days like valentines
To remind us of how much
We should appreciate the love
We have received,
Sometimes we grasp love
As a thing that we can hold
Like a possession, without
Thinking that love also need to
Spread his or her wings.
Love is pure, kind and gentle.
We should love without holding
Past pains and hurts.
What more can I say about love,
My devotions and my words
And my actions may say something else.
But I know what is in my heart,
I know who I am and whom I love.
My actions may say otherwise,
But if you truly knew me,
You would know,
I am just a girl asking you to accept
My love as it comes,
That gifts and money
Is not important,
Love, respect and honour will do.

"I am just a girl asking you to accept / my love as it comes" Beautiful. It sounds like such a simple request, hopefully one that is or shall be fullfilled.
