Maybe love isn’t for me

We search and we search
And we get to the bridge of that
One thing where we have to hand over
Our hearts,
And you question yourself into
The ground,
Asking yourself,
Why?
Then you stop to think?
Just maybe love isn’t for me.

Wow. A very interesting ending. Excellent piece, indeed.

Sad - when stopping to think makes us feel that love isn't for us. Sadder still to meet those that might believe this. Great job in expressing that sense of hopelessness.

They say love is all about giving your heart to someone who can break it, yet trusting them not to.. I personally believe in taking chances because I don't like saying to myself 'What If..??' and even if it turns out wrong... it was worth the experience..!!
